Megaan graduated from NDSU in 2014 with her bachelor's in nursing and has 11 years of experience as an RN, largely internal medicine, Oncology and aesthetics. She has been in Aesthetics for five years. Megaan graduated with her nurse practitioner degree from Walden University in 2025.

She has lived in Fargo for 15 years. Her hobbies are coffee, reading, cooking, and hanging out with her husband, two kids, and two cats.

Megaan has also lived in Estes Park, CO for 10 years and Quebec, Canada for 2 years.
