What is Mesotherapy?

Mesotherapy is a procedure was pioneered in France in 1952, and is growing in popularity in the United States. Mesotherapy combines FDA approved medications, minerals and amino acids injected just under the surface of the skin.

What doesn't it do?

It's not a weight loss solution. Mesotherapy is more about reducing specific areas of fat rather than overall weight loss it's not a substitute for a proper diet and exercise. In fact, it works best in conjunction with a healthy lifestyle.

How does it work?

The injected solution is individually prepared depending on its purpose and is administered directly to the desired area.

Injected? So does it hurt?

Pain is minimal and most people experience little discomfort. Numbing of the area is available for those with a lower pain tolerance.

How many treatments will I need?

Generally, the average patient requires 8 to 10 treatments. However, thin people with problem areas such as "love handles" or "saddlebags" may require less.

Will I see results right away?

Depends on your body. Some people see results after one session, some after 4 or 5. People will probably comment that you look thinner, and your clothes will feel looser.

How long will the results last?

Treatment areas will remain free of unwanted fat as long as the client maintains a healthy diet and exercise. Treatments for cellulite require maintenance on a six month to one year basis.

Any side effects?

Side affects are generally limited to bruising. The bruises usually fade within one week. In addition, there may be some soreness around the injection area. The procedure generally takes 30 minutes and requires no preparation or recovery time.
