How does it work?

Laser light is applied to the tattoo, causing the ink to break-up, fade and then disappear. Surrounding skin is unharmed.

How many treatments will it take?

The number of treatments depends on the amount and type of ink used, and the depth of the ink into your skin.

Does the laser remove all ink colors?

The Revlite laser does a good job with most ink types and colors. However, some ink colors, such as bright blue and green, are more difficult to remove than others and will require additional treatments.

Does it hurt?

You will feel a slight sensation, similar to a small rubber band snapping on the skin, during the burst of laser light pulses. Anesthesia creams are available if needed.

Will the tattoo completely disappear?

95% of fading can be accomplished in most tattoos. However, many types of inks are used and not all of them are easily removed. Without knowing the depth and type of ink, it’s impossible to predict exactly how a specific tattoo will respond to the laser treatment.
