IPL-Intense Pulsed Light

How does it work?

The IPL instrument delivers pulses of ultraviolet light to the skin's surface, which gradually diminishes the appearance of freckles, sun spots, brown pigment and redness caused by broken capillaries. At the same time, the light is absorbed by the deeper layers of skin tissue, enhancing collagen production for tighter, smoother skin.

How many treatments will I need?

Between 2-6 treatments to the entire area.

How long does a treatment take?

Only about 15 to 30 minutes, depending on the size of the area being treated. IPL is easy to fit into your busy schedule!

How long until I see results?

The changes are gradual, so you will gradually see results after each session. However, by the end of your treatment series, you will see dramatic results.

Does it hurt?

You may feel slight tingling, but there is virtually no pain.

What about after the session?

Your skin may look a bit red for a few hours, followed by a bronzing of the area as dead cells surface and are sloughed off. You can return to all normal activities immediately following the procedure.
